We recently stayed at a great wee cottage that was not only comfortable and cosy, but also had a breathtaking view of Dundrum bay and a charming little harbour. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated the toasty warm atmosphere and the great shower. The location was perfect for walks into town or up into the beautiful mountains. Esther, our host, was amazing and made our stay thoroughly enjoyable.
For us, the cottage was ideal. 🥰

We had a fantastic stay at the charming Coastguard Cottage. The cottage was clean and well-equipped, perfect for our party of 5. The views of St John's Point and Newcastle were absolutely stunning. The nearby restaurant at Harbour House was also superb. We had a great time exploring the area and the location was very convenient. Despite a few minor issues like difficult access and limited parking arrangements, our overall experience was exceptional. We highly recommend this cottage for a memorable and comfortable stay.

Mind-blowing cottage with up-to-date amenities, including a jaw-dropping collection of board games and books for the teenagers. Super location just a short walk from the town center. Loved the milk in the fridge and the fully stocked kitchen. The host was fantastic and provided everything we needed. The views of the bay and the harbor were absolutely stunning. The whole family had an amazing time and would definitely come back for more adventures.

Just back from a week's stay in a fantastic cottage with updated amenities in an old style setting. Coastguard Cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the kids loved the board games and my teenager was thrilled with the wide range of books available. the location was great, only a 15 to 20-minute walk to the center of town. There were plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained nearby. Thanks to Esther, our host, for making our stay enjoyable. Cons: Nothing, it was perfect! 👌.

had a great time at a charming cottage in newcastle. spacious, clean, and comfy with stunning sea views. easy key collection, good location, and host. appreciated the little touches like milk and tea provided. whole family loved it and would definitely return.
Stairs were tricky for my toddler. a stair gate at the top would have been helpful.
